Sleep easy

A good night’s sleep recharges your batteries and feeds your brain. So we’ve furnished every room with a bed that’s big enough for all and comfy enough to guarantee a good night’s sleep. All you have to do is jump in.

Room to spare

You’re not normally able to swing a cat in student rooms. But, with bedrooms measuring a comfortable 14.0m² up to a whopping 28.7m², you’ll have plenty of space. No pets allowed though. So you can’t try the cat thing – sorry.

En-suite rooms

Every bedroom has its own en-suite. So you can shower at midnight and take your time in the morning. Whatever you like, it's all yours.

Cook up a storm

There’ll be no queuing, no overstuffed fridges and no plate-balancing on counter corners. Not in our kitchens, anyway. That’s because they come with roomy fridges, generous worktops and sizeable ovens.

Super-size storage

You’ll struggle to fill cupboards to bursting and wardrobes to overflowing here. That’s because we’ve thought carefully about every space and found brilliant ways to make the most of every nook and cranny in your room.

Plug in and power up

Forget adaptors and extenders, every room is powered with plenty of sockets, positioned just where you need them. And in every property we have free 100Mbps internet and WiFi so you can connect anywhere and any time you like.

Common areas

From washing to watching, our common areas have everything you need.

Socialise round the clock

Student life isn’t about the 9–5. So when it comes to communal areas we’re open all hours. For playing, watching TV (all your freeview channels on good-sized screens), studying quietly or just chilling out with friends, we’re open round the clock.

Exercise whenever you like

Forget rushing to the gym before closing. Forget expensive memberships you never use. Because our properties have their own fully equipped gyms for you to visit whenever you like.

Intelligent laundry

Washing is enough of a chore without having to hang around and wait for it too. So our laundries come with added intelligence. Operated by top-up card, they’ll alert you when machines are free and when your washing’s finished, too.

On your bike

Don’t own a bike? Don’t worry, we’ve got it covered. In York we’ve got lots of lovely branded bikes for you to borrow whenever you want. Great for exploring the city, or just getting to uni, simply book them out and off you go.

When you sink into bed at the end of a long day, there’s no need to toss and turn. That’s because you’ve got security round the clock. In every property, keeping you safe and sound day and night.

Reception all hours

There’s no getting lost, no missing visitors or wayward parcels here. In fact, your open-all-hours concierge is there to greet friends, pass on post, give you directions, share local know-how and generally see you all right.

From construction to waste reduction, we’re always evaluating our environmental impact.

Green living

You can rest assured we’ve worked to halve the construction waste sent to landfill and prioritised sustainable methods such as offsite construction. With an energy-saving combined heat and power unit, onsite recycling and secure bike storage, we do our best to support you in keeping your environmental footprint nice and light.
